| MOT Near Me The end... The Story The MOT Near Me story started back around 2013, when I was playing with open data provided by the government through data.gov.uk. It had a fairly simple aim to be able to find MOT centres near a geographic location. Simple enough eh? However, this posed some issues. Firstly, we had to get the data and parse it into somewhere that would be useful. We would then need to both geolocate all of the MOT Centres (using postcodes) and then be able to geolocate users requests (normally using postcodes) to tell them which MOT Centres were near them.
